Need for Awareness on Health societies in India

A few members who related to a particular disease form like a group called Health Society. There is lack of awareness for these health societies in our country. They gained very much popularity in Foreign countries. These societies are formed like 'Society for Thalassemic patients', who need Blood Transfusion in every 3weeks; 'Parents' Association for Autistic Children',by the parents of children who can't respond quickly like all other normal children; 'Alzheimer's and Related Disorders Society of India ,who will slowly loss their memory.

  • About these societies.

Some of the patients and their family members and Doctors form like a society to meet regularly and to share the information . These will be non-profit organisations by them who are related to that diseases directly or indirectly.

  • Membership

The patients themselves ,their family members , Doctors ,and also who have ongoing research work on these particular diseases, and any interested persons, who want to build some confidence through their words into the patients. If there will be a possibility and if they have funds ,they build Websites and also try to setup Offices for their societies.

  • What do they do in these societies?

the members of the society will meet regularly like one day in a month at a particular pre-decided place. If some one thinks these meetings will be like..'some patient telling his bad experience about his disease, and all are going to console him', then it will be a wrong estimation. In these meetings they play jokes to cheer-up the environment ans share information. Like the mother of an Alzheimer's patient tells the details about 'how she is getting her daughter into puzzles to make her memory sharpen.and gives the details of the shops where these kind of puzzle games are sold'.

and some of Doctors prescribe medicines , give research presentations about the ongoing studies on those diseases worldwide.

These meetings help the patients to minimise their pain..and feel fresh at least for sometime to forget about their killing diseases .

In these societies ,the members themselves try to help each other for example in Thalassemic patients' society they form a blood bank by that they don't have to run and search for that particular blood group who need a blood transfusion.

  • Need for this kind of societies

There is big need for awareness for this kind of societies in our country. It will help and build confidence in patients and their family members to fight against those diseases as well to overcome their lack of knowledge .

International Mother Language Day

Today is International Mother Language Day..
One of the impact of Globalisation is that some of the languages which are spoken by lesser population are disappearing form the world.
Try to learn other languages to gain knowledge , to know about more people. but never forget your mother tongue. Forgetting our mother tongue means forgetting our culture, tradition ,and heritage.

Reminiscences of my school days...

I go nostalgic when ever I think of my school days. They were the golden days.So much nostalgic feelings fill up in my mind when the subject of my Alma matter comes..I don't know if ,I could be able to written up all those feelings...memories...

my first school... , from where chweet little sapna started going to school...it's bad that I don't have any memories about that....But still it will be my first school where I started learning A B C of life .....where I completed my Kindergarten... where I first learnt the rhyme "Twinkle Twinkle little Star", like all kids.I got to know from my parents that when ever someone asked me for my school name I used to tell in chweet chweet words ..hahaha...

From my second school , I have some good memories...my primary education was from this school,..from this time my siblings also joined me.. and we used to have somuch fun but not above the studies!!!!.I still remember the school ,the play ground ,,,the garden...

and my final school ,which has remarkable influence on my life , I completed my high school there.I still remember the day when I attended the Entrance Examination for this school,,,,I was so nervous , not even prepared for that, just I went to one of dad's friend's house warming function and had to attend Exam.,,,the school , the place ,the town all were new to me..but later it
became my Best school. :)
In that we not only learnt the lessons from books ,but the lessons of the life, 'how to behave with the persons around you, how to talk with the elders', like all those which are important for a growing child to become a perfect human being.

We used to have the special place among all the pupil from various schools.we used to rock ..guys!!!
yeah really..what sports and games, what cultural activities, what other competitions, in all academics and non-academics we,the pupil of our school only used to win always!!!! we used to enjoy a lot ...it feels proud to be the student of that school ,my school..the one and only Vani Niketan.. means 'abode of the goddess of learning' ,Saraswati it self.

We had been taught about our culture..our tradition..and Sanskrit language, that not many schools did,not like now-a-days teachers and schools those only concentrate on marks and ranks.
Our teachers made us concentrate on current affairs ,to observe whats going around us..that is helping us now also..that made us become a good human with some responsible towards others and the society as well. That's why we never said 'no' to school.

Red and White uniform with black shoes ,we were training under the careful guidance of most adorable teachers.

I was the topper and class gal for whole my schooling(I think that's why only I don't have so many friends from school days, since I was not one of all :P). And I was a teachers' pet ,they used to call by the names what ever the y like. (oooohhhh:))

How could I write in this small space all my reminiscences when each and every of my school days is as alive in my mind as yesterday? Exam tensions, early adolescent curiosities, fights and consolations amongst friends, recess funs, fear of punishment (punishment ?? waise mujhe kabhi nahin mila!!!)when homework is not done

I will always miss my school days

kaash woh din phir se aajate......
kaash hum apne bachpan mein phirse lout pate.....
