I want to share an incident that happened to me at a mall in Dubai, of which I don't know how sure we can say it to happen in India.
not putting it in any further suspense...I am writing it down...last weekend me and my husband went to a mall ..and we shopped whole the afternoon..we had to attend a party in the evening so we rushed for that ...all in this we forgot our one of the bag containing some dresses in the food court, when we were having our cappuccino. We not even realised that time that we forgot our bag.and next day when I was having my trials on the new dresses (that all the girls love to do:))) then I realised. Immediately I called up the number which was in the bill. then they responded very politely and gave me the security number of that mall. I called them at that moment only and they said they will check out for my dresses and took my phone number. After few minutes only I got a call stating that my dresses been found ,and I can take them from the security. After 3 , 4 days I went to the particular mall and got my dresses....it was like an unbelievable thing for me ..I was just dancing after I got my dresses.
Now what I wan to say by all this is....can we imagine it to happen in India??...If suppose I might have forgotten my materials in India..will I be ever able to get back them??I think all the Indians know the answer ..so I may not to give any answer to that..hahaha..
Why we Indians can't be like that....why India is so corrupted ...here my intention is not to say India is so corrupted,,,but just want to ask...can we even imagine such kind of incident in any shopping mall in India...Don't know when our India will become like that..

International Mother Language Day

Today is International Mother Language Day..
One of the impact of Globalisation is that some of the languages which are spoken by lesser population are disappearing form the world.
Try to learn other languages to gain knowledge , to know about more people. but never forget your mother tongue. Forgetting our mother tongue means forgetting our culture, tradition ,and heritage.

RECIPE FOR A "HAPPY NEW YEAR"

RECIPE FOR A HAPPY NEW YEAR
Take twelve whole months.
Clean them thoroughly of all bitterness,
hate, and jealousy.
Make them just as fresh and clean as possible.
Now cut each month into twenty-eight, thirty, or thirty-one different parts,
but don't make up the whole batch at once.
Prepare it one day at a time out of these ingredients.
Mix well into each day one part of faith,
one part of patience, one part of courage,
and one part of work.
Add to each day one part of hope,
faithfulness, generosity, and kindness.
Blend with one part prayer, one part meditation,
and one good deed.
Season the whole with a dash of good spirits,
a sprinkle of fun, a pinch of play,
and a cupful of good humor.
Pour all of this into a vessel of love.
Cook thoroughly over radiant joy,
garnish with a smile,
and serve with quietness, unselfishness,
and cheerfulness.
You're bound to have a happy new year

26th December -the day of TSUNAMI

How will we forget the day...which caused so-much disaster.
People across Asia paused today to observe the fifth anniversary of the devastating earthquake and tsunami in 2004 that killed up to 230,000 people in about a dozen countries. The devastating December 26 tsunami destroyed entire coastal communities, decimated families and crashed over tourist-filled beaches, sweeping away everyone and everything in its path.
The earthquake was caused by subduction and triggered a series of devastating ttsunamis along the coasts of most landmasses bordering the Indian Ocean, killing nearly 230,000 people in eleven countries, and inundating coastal communities with waves up to 30 meters (100 feet) high. It was one of the deadliest natural disasters in recorded history. Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, and Thailand were the hardest hit.
The tsunami was triggered by an undersea earthquake with a magnitude of 9.0 that struck off the coast of the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Over the next seven hours, a wall of water reached across the Indian Ocean, devastating coastal areas as far away as East Africa. With a magnitude of between 9.1 and 9.3, it is the second largest earthquake ever recorded on a seismograph. This earthquake had the longest duration of faulting ever observed, between 8.3 and 10 minutes. It caused the entire planet to vibrate as much as 1 cm (0.4 inches)[5] and triggered other earthquakes as far away as Alaska.[6]
The lack of food, clean water and medical treatment extended the list of casualties.
Long-term environmental damage was severe as well, with villages, tourist resorts, farmland and fishing grounds demolished or inundated with debris, bodies and plant-killing salt water

SHORTEST DAY of the YEAR
Today i.e 21st of Dec ,is the shortest day of the year in Northern Hemisphere.
It is a day when the Earth's axis tilts the farthest from the Sun and is called winter solstice.
A solstice is an astronomical event which happens twice each year, when the tilt of the Earth's axis is most inclined toward or away from the Sun, causing the Sun's apparent position in the sky to reach its northernmost or southernmost extreme, On the day of winter solstice, North Pole points directly away from the Sun and South Pole points directly towards the Sun, the Sun shines at lowest heights in Northern skies and at maximum heights in Southern skies.
This results in the shortest day in the Northern Hemisphere, but at the same time it's the longest day in Southern Hemisphere.
Winter solstice indicates peak of the cold season. After this, the length of the day starts increasing and it reaches a point where day and night become equal in length at Vernal or Spring Equinox. The day continues to grow longer till summer solstice, the longest day,

A year going to say bye bye....
all welcomes the new year ,forgetting about the old year which has given so many experiences ...
here are some words for the passing year:
A year which has made us grow one year older :)
that was so much fun-filled louder
that sometimes made us sadder
A year which has showed all its phases
that filled some one's life with fragrance of roses
and given someone thorns of roses
A year in which someone started life
and some one reached end of their of life
but it was all game of life
A year which was beautiful as a garden with full of flowers
it was like drops of first showers
like chilled nights at the the winters
that wonderful year is passing
with hope of dreaming
a new year coming

be clever while offering advice
yesterday while reading "THE HINDU" I found some interesting article about offering advice to anyone.I thought of sharing this with all of you.
When people offer advice on their own ,we tend to get annoyed.I suppose we all have this complicated attitude towards advice. That's not because of the advice itself..but because by giving me such advice , that person has suggested that they did not think I knew what I was doing, and they thought that I might not do a good job without the advice.
I'm sure we have all reacted similarly to advice at some point or the other.Since giving can be a such a complicated affair, we happen to have many clever methods of offering advice.
To simply say 'do this' , is offensive , and puts people off. So even though that is in fact what we want to say, we tend to offer advice disguised as polite suggestions.
Instead of saying 'you should do this' , or anything even close to that, we only can say 'I would do this' . Let me explain with an example. Instead of speaking to me directly and telling me to make the work done ,my friend could instead say,' if I was doing this ,I'd make like this way to make it done very easily'. It simply looks as if my friend is expressing her own views on how to do that work.Nothing to do with me and my work.
Since we all must offer advice ,the effort here is to make it sound as little like advice as we possibly can. So expressing your advice as an independent idea that supposedly has nothing to do with the person you are offering advice really works out
The 'I'd do this', formula is extremely handy for issuing warnings too. For example ,if you are at the library and some of your friends suddenly start talking loudly to you , you could warn them by saying "I'd keep quite if I were you"
This way of offering advice is slightly less intrusive than simply telling people what to do, but it's still good to remember that offering advice when people have not asked for it can be annoying regardless of how carefully you offer it.
